We have developed an innovative Vitrification device, Vitri Kr (pronounced as Vitri care) to use in Vitrification process of storing human gametes and embryos at extreme low temperatures in liquid nitrogen for fertility preservation in IVF clinics. At present, different makes of these devices that are in the market are imported, but those have difficulties in correctly handling in vitrification procedure leading to loosing valuable gametes/embryos. Keeping this in mind, we have designed Vitri Kr to provide ease of handling, safety and security for the stored gametes/embryos through an improvised design.
